Tailor Made Holidays around Austria - you tell us when, where and how long, and we'll do the rest

Our Tailor-Made holiday service for Austria means just that. Whilst we have access to some wonderful packages through respected tour operators covering all the main resorts, whether you are looking for a skiing, snowboarding or lakes & mountains holiday, we know that these aren’t always as flexible in their start dates and durations as our clients need. You can give us a call, or visit the Contact Us page of the website to send us an e-mail outlining your particular requirements, and we will tailor-make a holiday just for you.

If you can’t manage a full week on the ski slopes, but can only get away for a few days, then we can offer short break packages to a selection of resorts, including St Anton and Lech, Kühtai and Mayrhofen. Another excellent option is to fly into Innsbruck, or take a scheduled flight into Munich, pick up and car and base yourself in a hotel in Innsbruck, and use this as a fantastic base from which to explore the resorts around, including skiing the Olympic Downhill course made famous by the legendary Franz Klammer down the Patscherkofel Mountain at Igls, or heading up to the guaranteed snows of the Stübai Glacier. If you want to tempt fate with thrills and spills, a must-do for every adrenalin-junky has to be a visit to the Sliding Centre at Igls, where you can join a bobsleigh run through 180degree curves, and around 100km per hour bends.
Where our Tailor-Made holiday booking service comes into its own is when you want to investigate different parts of this beautiful country. A favourite option with many of our clients is a multi-centre tour starting with a flight into Munich or Zurich, a couple of nights in the city, then onwards to Salzburg by train. From there, travel along the banks of the Danube past the famous monastery at Melk, and into Vienna, with a flight back from there, or a further rail journey to Budapest, Bratislava or Prague.
Another popular combination is staying in the west of Austria, exploring Innsbruck, Bregenz, the Bodensee (Lake Constance), the Romantikstrasse through Bavaria and on from Bregenz to Zurich. However, there are lots of exciting opportunities heading east towards Vienna and the Burgenland, or south towards the lakes area, and on in the direction of Slovenia.
One of the most popular combinations remains a week-long stay in the Austrian mountains, for example, in a village such as Mayrhofen, with a second week across the Italian border in the beautiful lakeland surroundings of Lake Garda, and its picturesque lake-side towns and villages, such as Malcesine. From Mayrhofen, apart from exploring its immediate vicinity, there are plenty of chances to visit cities such as Innsbruck and Salzburg, whereas from Malcesine, popular excursions always include exporing the gems of Verona and Venice.
We plan your trip around your precise requirements, and will work with you to get the itinerary exactly as you want it, whether you are flying, driving, using the train or using on the fantastic Postbus service. A great option, of course, is to use Austria’s rivers to explore the country, and we can provide you with guidance and ideas for wonderful river cruises, showing you the beautiful mountain, hills, vineyards and many sights that you will enjoy as you cruise lazily down the Danube.
There’s so much to do, see and experience in Austria, you’ll be spoilt for choice for a life-time of holidays.
